Group of Companies with offices in Kenya,
India, Seychelles and the UK. The Group has over
60 years experience in the Construction Industry. It
is also gradually diversifying in other fields such as
manufacturing of construction material. Laxmanbhai
Group, a family run business, came into existence in
Kenya in 1953. Renowned for its reliability, exclusive
workmanship and high standards it has been
associated with diversified contracting, construction
management and design build services.
Laxcon Hardware & Spares was established in the
year 1993 as a small trading concern. From a modest
and humble beginning the company has progressed
over the years expanding its product base and is now
considered as one of the leader in the field of building
materials and interior decorative products. Today,
we are appointed agents/distributors for some of the
world renowned brands such as Sika, Bitumat, Henkel
Polybit, Gyproc SA (Saint Gobain, Gypsum Division),
Knauf, Jomoo, Hafele, Oppein, GPD, Kale, Japar, ASIL,
Egger, Felder and many more.
Currently, Laxcon operated from three branches in
Nairobi, one in the prime residential/commercial area
of Parklands comprising of 500m2 showroom space, a
retail outlet in the industrial area and one in Embakasi
on the Nairobi/ Mombasa Highway with 1,000m2
showroom space and has further plans to have
branches or franchises/distributors in the major cities
of Kenya and the East African region.
To expand our product range especially in Process
Board section we introduced a separate “Boards
& Panels Division”, we are the representative of
prestigious brand “EGGER”, Egger stands for quality in
all aspects. We shall not only sell boards but offer a full
cutting and edging service to the installers for kitchens

he GPD brand name was established in the year 1978
has a deep rooted and significant place throughout
the Turkish market for the production of various
bathroom and kitchen armatures, taps and water, gas,
radiator valves and unions produced with brass raw
materials with hot pressing and die casting.
GPD manufactures all products in it’s own building
located in Istanbul-Beylikduzu, on an area of 12.000m2.
All the production and management staff works are
performed with a team spirit and develops its technological
investments, production capacity and quality performance
each and every day according to a company that always
aims for the future with strong and secure steps.
In the assembling stage 100% controls are accomplished
for the function and pressure flow rates. The armatures
(taps , mixers ) are tested with 8 bar for pressure with
water and with 5 bar are tested with air for non leakage. All
products manufactured by GPD are endured to a pressure
of 25 bar.
Hence thus; it develops its products by designing brand
new models in the direction of client’s demands with the
parallel of the new generation. GPD owns the certificate
of TS ISO 9001:2008 that is under the confirmation of TUV,
continues the production in parallel of Quality Guarantee
System conditions.
