• Capital: Andorra la Vella
• Official language: Catalan
• Extension:468 km2
• Population: 50.000 foreigns and 30.000
Andorrans.
• Economy: Its economy is based in the turism and
in the tax haven.

3. Situation
• In the northeast of Spain.
• In the south of France.
• Area of 468km2

Official language: Catalan (38,8%)
Other languages (immigration):
• Spanish: 35,4%
• Portuguese: 15%
• French: 5,4%
• Other languages: 5,5%

6. Education
• Three educational systems:
o French
o Spanish
o Catalan (Andorran)
• Schools:
o Primary
o Secundary education
o Vocational training
• Five languages taught: French, Spanish, Catalan,
Aranese, and Portuguese.

7. Economy
• Tobacco (cheaper than in Spain).(The agricultural
production is limited, because only the 2% of the land
is arable, and they usually plant tobacco so it's
cheaper buying tobacco in Andorra than in Spain.)
• 38.000 beds in hotels in 301 different lodges.
• Income per capita  40.000 € (double of the
European mean).

8. Policy
• Andorra is a parliamentarian co-principality.
• It is governed by:

10. Tourism
• It represents 80% of the Andorran GDP (Gross
domestic product).
• Winter Tourism: skiing.
• Summer Tourism: rural tourism for people
who love mountains.

11. Shopping tourism
• Vielha or cities near Andorra.
• Tourist offices  tourist trips (to go to the
small country to spend the day and go
shopping.)
• "Valuable Added Tax" (VAP) doesn't exist 
cheaper than Spain.
