The National Institute for Digital Learning (NIDL) was officially launched on November 28th, 2013 by the Irish Minister for Education and Skills and Ireland's Digital Ambassador. The NIDL is directed by Professor Mark Brown and focuses on open education, teaching enhancement, and digital learning through the work of Professor Gráinne Conole, Dr. Mark Glynn, and Professor Máiread Nic Giolla Mhichil.
