convince the publisher in to having Natalie's mother edit the
manuscript, but her mother's boss said that if she wasn't the
editor for "The Cheater", then the book was not going to get
published. But Natalie and Zoe really, really want Ms. Nelson
to edit the book. Through harsh circumstances, Natalie
Nelson and Zoe Reisman, two twelve year olds, with a bit of
help from an adult, Ms. Clayton, walk through the road to
getting a novel published. But when Natalie's mother insists
upon meeting 'Cassandra Day",Natalie,Zoe and Ms.Clayton go
to a publishing party (that Zoe arranged) and then Zoe tells
Ms. Nelson who Cassandra Day really is.
