We’d like to share with you some hot
news. The days of CEOs and Board of
Directors cascading decisions and
messages to business units, teams and
employees are coming to an end.
In the UAE and elsewhere in the Middle East,
business has been about the vision of a few
leaders at the top and this tradition largely
continues today. The image of one leader and
many followers still endures in the hearts and minds
of the people in the region.
But what would you predict if the ideas of a
privileged few at the top were not entirely
sustainable for the environment, the market, or for
the new customer experience you’re building?

A new frontier for change in the Middle
East, Whole-System Transformation™,
challenges traditional Change
Management standards by doing away
with incremental changes that are far too
slow to capture real opportunities.
Whole-System Transformation (WST) is based on
Kathleen Dannemiller’s Whole-Scale Change™
philosophy (Dannemiller Tyson Associates, 2000). It
can be summed up is “an adaptable and custom
tailored wisdom-creating learning experience that
often results in a mindset paradigm shift.”
How exactly is this achieved? Through the
facilitation of several hundred, sometimes
thousand participants working and interacting
together! But this is no run-of-the-mill team-building
event or corporate conference. In a WST
experience Scholar Consultants will:

Identify who the client is and establish the
desired change and business results
Create synergy with a change team from the
client who designs a scanning tool with us
Work within the client system for approx. 15
days on a confidential data-collection mission
Design a 2.5 day offsite retreat for 20 to 1000
people and beyond, with a Design Team
comprising of members from the client system
Facilitate an inspiring WST offsite experience
Implement actions for 2 months post-offsite
Huge leaps in profitability and business results

Roland Sullivan, WST Specialist
Considered to be one of the original 100
change agents of the world, Roland
learned directly from the founders of the
Change Management profession in 1962.
He has led transformation efforts for over
1000 organizations in 40 countries. He
coined the term Whole-System
Transformation™ in 1974. He has also
taught Change Management around the
world at 20 universities.
Roland’s most popular book is ‘Practicing
OD: A Guide for Leading Change’ (Wiley)
which will be in its 4th edition in 2015.
He has received numerous awards for
achieving transformative results and for
his research on Change competencies.
Mubeena Mohammed, CEO
After consulting in the UAE since 2003,
Mubeena rebranded her Company to
meet global demands for her expertise.
As CEO of Scholar Consultants, she aims
to create a world-class and flawless
