Moodle is a free and open-source learning management system that is used by over 60 million users worldwide. It provides tools to create online courses, including options for web pages, videos, books, assignments, certificates, chats, quizzes and more. The presenter discussed how Moodle is being implemented within eXtension to provide online educational programs and professional development opportunities for educators. Support and hosting is provided to allow users to make their programs accessible online at any time.
