• Two or even three tutorials a week of core learning Timetable not
easy to integrate more
• In UHW weekly cases tutorials
• In UHL similar but more personalised
• Perhaps set cases times in both UHW and UHL but four per group (myself and
lead tutor)

13. Presentations at lunchtime meeting
• At UHW in pairs students present an aspect of geriatrics they have
found interesting.
• Perhaps this could be adopted at UHL

14. Feedback
• Before students start and when juniors rotate a quick education
session for clinicians about being prescriptive about feedback.
• Reminder to teams to be as welcoming as possible.

15. Acute geriatrics
• Sessions appear popular
• ? Ability to use FOPAL on a daily basis however not staffed for
teaching
