SR. HIGH YOUTH GROUP: It’s Service Night - “Shining the Light of Christ” -
Food and Devotion...bring a friend! Next Sunday is our Christmas Party. Meet
at the church at 3:45 pm for caroling at Rest Haven followed by the Progressive
Dinner. Bring a $5 gift for exchange. We’ll be done at the church at 8:30 pm.
JR. HIGH YOUTH GROUP: Wednesday is our Christmas Dinner party from
6:00-8:00 pm. Bring a $5 gift for exchange. There will be dinner, games, prizes,
and a Christmas story. Invite a friend!
2016 OFFERING ENVELOPES
Please pick up your 2016 offering envelopes today at the Welcome
Center. If you don’t have envelopes but want them, please sign up
for them on the form next to the envelopes. If you have envelopes
but don’t use them, please also indicate that on the paper.

Family Bible Hour for age 3-adult will be taking a holiday break.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH SIGN-UP
If you would be willing to serve as a teacher or helper
with Children’s Church, please sign up at the table in the
Fellowship Hall today. Helpers can be age 11+. Children’s
church is for kids age 3-K and meets partway through the
Sunday morning service. Questions, see Renae VanderHaar

Dear Parkside Family: I can never express how thankful I am for you and all you
have done for my kids and me including fixing my car multiple times, giving my
kids a Christmas when I wasn’t able to, being a listening ear and loving us
unconditionally. I am forever grateful and I will never be able to repay your
kindness and love. You have been a shelter for us when we felt unloved and

SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE-THE BOOK OF REVELATION Join us
tonight at 6:00 pm as we continue through the book of Revelation. Bring
your Bible and a friend as we walk through some of the most descriptive
passages of God’s plan for humanity and His people Israel.
CHRISTMAS CAROLING The Women’s Bible Study group will be hosting
Christmas caroling in the Chapel at Resthaven Care Center located at 280
West 40th Street in Holland next Sunday, Dec. 20, from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
This is open to the entire church, and we encourage families to come!
Enter at the first driveway (with overhang and flag pole.) The Chapel is
on the right just off the lobby. Following the caroling, we will return to
the church for cider and donuts at 5:30. Please sign up at the Women’s
Ministry counter so we know how many to plan for.
CHRISTMAS SERVICE PROJECT (Sponsored by Parkside’s Food Pantry
and Helping Hands) Christmas Food Baskets will be assembled and given
to needy families during the month of December. Please help us by
donating canned goods, jams, jellies, etc. ALSO we would like to put new
board games in the baskets so those would be greatly appreciated as well.
You can put your items on the table near the library in the Fellowship
Area. If you know of someone that can use extra help during the
holidays, please let Julie Hapke or Ruthann VanAelst know or call the
church office at 399-4410.
LADIES MISSION WORKSHOP COMING IN JANUARY! Mark your
calendars now for Saturday, January 9. We will be making little dolls for
Africa as a mission project. A workshop will be held from 9 am to 3 pm.
Feel free to come and go, stay an hour or two or all day. You don’t need
to know how to sew to help - you can cut and stuff! If you can sew, please
bring your sewing machine and thread. Materials will be provided. This
event is sponsored by PLATE Ministries. For more information, please
call Kathy Trantham at 396-1975.
