1. Embedding a Twitter feed to
Oracle

2. Log in or sign up to Twitter

3. Click the profile icon in the top right
(to the left of the Tweet button) then
click settings

4. Click on “Widgets”

5. Click “Create new”

6. Set the feed settings
Timeline sources
User timeline is all of the user’s
tweets in chronological order
(newest to oldest)
Likes is all of the user’s tweets in
chronological order (newest to
oldest)
List is all tweets from users in a “list”
in chronological order (newest to
oldest), lists are multiple users
grouped into one feed
Search is all of the tweets under a
search term (hashtags, weblinks or
key words)
Collection is all of the tweets in a
“collection”, collections are a group
of tweets created by a user that can
be added to
The settings below will change based
on the type of source
Search term

automatically be
visible on tweets. The height of

7. In this example the search query is Learning Technology, the height
is 800px, the theme is light and I have change the link colour to the
college purple.
Copy the embed code. Once you have finished click “Save changes”

8. Go to Oracle, go to the course page
you want to add the Padlet to then
turn editing on

9. Click Add and Activity or Resource,
then add a label or page.
Or add it to a HTML block

10. In the text editor, click the HTML
editor

11. Paste the link, then click update

12. This is the feed in a course page
