The document summarizes updates from the ELESIG community. It announces three small grants for research projects on using a Delphi technique with learners, sharing good practice of survey-based research, and producing an annotated bibliography on action research approaches. It also discusses feedback from members, who value connecting with others but feel ELESIG does not strongly help argue for institutional changes or inform local policy. Upcoming events are noted, including an April contrast and contradictions event and a July summer symposium.

71 respondents accessed the survey. 70 answered the first nine questions and then the number of responses gradually decreased. There were 612 members at the time of the survey making this an 11.4% response rate. Survey respondents made the following suggestions for changes to ELESIG:…..if it were possible to have a free network without adverts ...There needs to be much more focus on the needs of the online community. The structure of people leading and operating in ELESIG could be clearer and more accessible
