8. Useful thinking Less effective thinking Faulty thinking I’m so nervous. I’ve blown it! Don’t get anxious You’ll blow it. I am usually calm and confident – I can cope with it. I was a total failure-everyone will think I’m an idiot. I wasn’t a total failure, may be next time.. Most of it was okay; I’ll know what to do next time. I didn’t get anything I wanted. I’ll never do any better. I didn’t get all I wanted, I should have done better. I didn’t get everything I wanted, but I did it and that’s really positive. I’m making progress.
