British Embassy Dubai: June-December 2016
I have been interning for 6 months at the British Embassy as Graphic and visual intern.
I can confidently say that I have learned a lot. The tasks that I am given can sometimes
be very challenging and being the only graphic designer in the Middle East and North
Africa for the British embassy is big challenge for me as well. However, with the help of
my instructor, I am able to overcome the obstacles that stand in my way when I face
them.
Duties:
 Designing and creating a wide variety of graphic art.
 Developing design briefs.
 Providing graphical support for Blogs, websites, Gif, infographics and social
media.
 Producing accurate and high-quality design work.
 Design motion graphics using Adobe after effect.
 Create news bulletin video each week and share it on social media.

Volunteer work
Volunteered with “Labbayna Al Nida” local NGO 2012-2013 Organized “Labbayna Al-
Nida” Charity Market in Damascus city,”Mintu Alena” food basket initiative during the
holy month of
Ramadan for IDPs residing in Damascus Assisted in the restoration of a damaged public
primary school in Rural Damascus as a part of the “Help Me Rebuild my School”
Initiative Distributing food baskets for people affected by the Syrian crisis in Homs.

Participate in Middle East partnership initiative (MEPI) 2013 for exchange leadership
program in the USA.
It’s an exchange program to the United States for approximately 120 undergraduate
students from the Middle East and North Africa, where students develop their
leadership skills, the institutes include academic coursework, as well as study tours to
various regions of the United States.
