controlled airport. Squawked 7600 and landed nothing to it
but as soon as it affects passengers it makes the news

accidents is because they are reported more often and they
are reposted more because when an aircraft has an alternator
fail and lands it creates a story which gets hits by people
like you and the media interrupts those hits as ratings so
of course they will focus on aviation accidents more because
its the big thing. The media wasn't there when I had an
alternator over voltage last summer.
