The National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in Baclaran, Manila is a Romanesque church built in the 1950s that has become one of the most popular Catholic pilgrimage sites in the Philippines. It is home to an icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary known as Our Lady of Perpetual Help, which has been entrusted to the care of the Redemptorist priests since the 15th century. The church hosts large masses and a popular novena each Wednesday that thousands of devotees attend to seek the intercession of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
