 When using Collaborate (webinar software)
   Invite students to complete evaluation forms
   Count the number of students viewing the live
    webinar
   Include with traditional

Literature  Bottorff , Tim, and Andrew Todd. “Making Online Instruction Count: Statistical Reporting of Web-Based Library Instruction Activities.” College & Research Libraries 73 (January 2012): 33-46.  There is no real consensus for gathering non- traditional instruction statistics.  Research needs to be conducted  Larger library bodies should take the lead: ARL, NCES, et al.
  • 13. In the meantime  Distance classes broadcast to off-site locations = count like traditional instruction.  When using Collaborate (webinar software)  Invite students to complete evaluation forms  Count the number of students viewing the live webinar  Include with traditional statistics
