went to Hunan province with my colleagues; our first destination
was Feng Huang Old Town, a place with historic scent and vivid
culture that are still well preserved till the current day. Our next
destination was Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. I was astonished
by the scenery. Afterwards, we went to the city and stayed in my host’s
house for a few nights. I was introduced to local dishes, dialects,
stories and lifestyle, as well as historical sites. This trip was so memorable.
It was not just about the travelling experience, but also the opportunity
to make friends with Chinese students. You will have opportunity to
stay in chinese classmates house during the holiday, it helps
international students to study the life and culture in China.

EXCHANGE STUDENTS SAID...
OPPORTUNITY JOBS FOR UNNC’S GRADUATES
REASONS WHY YOUR CAREER WILL BE AWESOME HERE
By Arie Riswandy / Exchange Student from University of New South Wales
A
iming to improve my Mandarin skills, I decided China among other options
offered by my university for my final year exchange. Studying in UNNC allows
me to learn mandarin while deepen my knowledge in business concurrently.
G
oing on an exchange to UNNC has got to be one of the highlights of my life.
I felt very welcomed and the students there made me feel as if I was one of
them. They were very helpful and were willing to go out of their way to help
new students integrate seamlessly. The Indonesians were nothing
short of brilliant and certainly made my transition easier than it should
have been! So enjoyable was my experience there that not a day goes
by when I don’t think of going back there just to relive the whole
experience.
The campus area is terrific. The lecture halls, student accommodations,
on-campus eateries and shops are located conveniently near to each
other. I did not regret choosing UNNC to spend my final semester and
I believe I will have a nice and memorable experience in this university.
By Jessica Eunice / Exchange Student from Singapore Institute of Management
ottingham students are very helpful as they fetch us at the airport & enlighten
me with mobile number, internet and transportation enquiries in Ningbo.
Accommodation in UNNC is simple, yet clean & well equipped throughout.
The room that I was assigned to is perfect to my liking. Moreover,
the peaceful environment in campus really set your mood when you
walk to class. Ningbo is a modern city & less crowded compared to
other major cities in China. Overall I enjoy my stay in Nottingham
University & a memorable experience is what I look forward to.

he concept of science and engineering had always fascinates me.
Thus, I have always been wanted to study in university abroad.
Despite, after three years in university, all my doubts had vanished.
The growth of the faculty of science and engineering in UNNC is

t’s been a pleasant journey so far studying in UNNC, especially in the
Division of International Studies. We got to learn both the art of
political science and our peer. International Studies students mainly
assessed from writing essays and general knowledge about the topic

you can have more free time compared to fellow students who are in
engineering and business, but be ready to work hard reading books
and articles.
