Feeling like a role model was an amazing sensation. Working as a customer experience
representative was emotionally validating in itself. Yet when combined with an audience, the work
became doubly fulfilling. In some ways, it boosted her self esteem and drove her to become the best
version of herself. She noticed that when her daily life was made transparent, her words and actions
became happier, more altruistic, and more intellectually interesting. She had been told that this
would be a positive effect of going transparent, but she had not anticipated other changes. She had

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this experiment was to determine if soft drinks manufactured by Coca Cola use
phosphoric acid in their product formula. An analysis of their product concentrations of HCl and
H3PO4 was performed using the potentiometric titration method, with a standardized 0.1002 M
NaOH solution. The molarities of HCl and H3PO4 were determined by plotting the titration
data, the first derivative, and the second derivative of this data. The results of our analysis of the
three trials found the molarities of HCl to be 0.1232 M, 0.1232 M, and 0.1230 M, with a mean
of 0.1231 M and an average deviation of 0.8 parts per thousand. We are 95% confident that for
this set of data, the true mean lies within the range of 0.1228 and 0.1234 M. The molarities of
H3PO4 were found to be 0.1709 M, 0.1706 M, and 0.1702 M, with a mean of 0.1706 M and an
average deviation of 1 part per thousand. We are 95% confident that for this set of data, the true

how their religious beliefs or non beliefs, were challenged since the events of September 11th. The

A Lock of Hair and a Wounded Heart Throughout the course of history and its literature, authors
and poets have served as messengers for the times in which they lived, whether it be about political
upheaval or social constructs or the lives of the common man. One way this was accomplished was
through satire. Alexander Pope, whom of which lived in the literary Restoration period and wrote
the poem, The Rape of the Lock, in 1714, provides a work as an excellent example of satire. He
parodies the upper classes favorite literature (epic, heroic poetry) to mock the absurdity and
irrationality of the upper class. Using the common tropes of divine intervention, hyperbole, and

During the period after the Civil War, in the Reconstruction era, the United States adopted three
amendments. These three amendments are the 13th, 14th, and 15th. In 1865, the ratification of the
13th amendment abolished slavery (Berlin). The 14th amendment protects privileges and
immunities from abridgement, assures due process of law prior to deprivations of life, liberty, or
property, and prohibits denials of equal protection of the laws (Steiker). The 15th amendment
granted African American men the right to vote. All three of these amendments, known as the Civil
Rights amendments, gave rights and ensured equality to recently emancipated slaves. The law
granted rights to African Americans and protected them from explicitly race based capital codes

Mossholder 1996; Dwyer et al. 2000; Kemp Dwyer 2001; Dolan Garcia 2002; Tepeci Bartlett
