● Simboliza el valor nulo, por ende ocupa un
lugar dónde no hay una cifra específica

Los números que son mayores
que el cero (0) son los números
positivos: 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, etc.
No es necesario ponerles el
signo (+). Cuando no se le escribe
signo al número, se asume que es

Los números negativos sirven para representar temperaturas muy frías,
bajo cero; fechas históricas en líneas de tiempo, profundidades, subsuelos
de edificios…
¿Para qué sirven?
● Los números negativos son aquellos números menores que el cero

● Se representan con el símbolo (-) que antecede el número: -8, -3, -2,
-1
