2. ”A production company is a company responsible for physical production of new media” A production company may simultaneously be responsible for the funding behind a film. We have not chosen a specific famous production company. However, we feel that if we were to choose one then it would probably be ‘New Line Cinema’ What does a Production Company do?

3. “A film distributor is a company or individual responsible for releasing films to the public” There is usually a ‘waiting period’ between a film is released in cinema to when it is released publicly. This waiting period is usually around 16 weeks. However it is not limited to that. Again, we have not picked a famous film distributor. However, if we did it would again have to be ‘New Line Cinema’ What does a distributor do?

4. Some independent films can find a sponsor who will provide funding for the creating of the film. However this is usually in return for a portion of the revenue made from the film. However, sometimes finding a small production company can result in funding being found. How might your film be funded?
