Multiple Companies patents relating to HEVC
• Plan to recover investment in technology
• Not all rights holders aligned through MPEG LA
• This leaves the royalty status in limbo
Already Key patent holders outside MPEG LA
• Qualcomm & Mediatek will pursue on their own
