This is my Unit Plan for the novel Wuthering Heights

1. Wuthering Heights

2. Analyze
Students: AP 12th grade English. 8 girls, 7 boys. 7 Causasian, 4
African-American, 1 Native American, 3 Latino. One student has
ADHD
Students should be able to understand the central events and
characters of Wuthering Heights.
Some students are auditory learners while others are visual.

3. Objective
Students will comprehend and explain the central events of
Wuthering Heights and the main characters by reading the book,
making relationship charts, role playing, watching a movie, and by
presentations by the end of one week with 100% accuracy.

4. Schedule
Day 1- Discussion of chapters read, make relationship charts
in groups
Day 2- Students will role play the central conflicts
Day 3- Students will watch Wuthering Heights and asked
questions
Day 4- Students will make presentations on their favorite
character
Day 5- Students will make a chart of Wuthering Heights with
Freytag's Pyramid
