2. Machu Picchu
It is the name given to the beautiful Inca town which was built in the fifteenth
century between two mountains, Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu, and
UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 by UNESCO. Archaeologists divide
into 3 zones: The Sacred Area (where the Room of the Three Windows ,
where, according to the myth of the Ayar brothers , came the Incas day of
creation is ) the District of the Priests and the Nobility (zone residential ) and
the Popular Quarter ( where the houses of other people are ).
3. Nazca Lines
They are located in the Nazca Desert and were drawn by the culture of the
same name, between the Peruvian towns of Nazca and Palpa. These lines
comprise hundreds of figures , geometric and abstract designs that extend
over an area of over 500 square kilometers.
4. Chichen Itzá
Located in the town of Tinum in the Yucatan Peninsula , the archaeological
destination of choice allows travelers to see the majesty of one of the
seven wonders of the modern world , the Temple of Kukultán , where you
can discover the knowledge of geometry, astronomy and mathematics who
were the Maya.
