2. Este deporte nace de la necesidad del hombre de deslizarse o trasladarse por
superficies cubiertas de nieve.
En la historia de los países nórdicos aparecen referencias a los desplazamientos
sobre la nieve utilizando pieles , patines o zapatos especiales.
Probablemente el esquí sea uno de los deportes más antiguos, ya que los esquíes se
usaban en los países escandinavos hace 5000 años.
Eran el medio de transporte individual más apropiado para desplazarse en zonas
cubiertas de nieve.
This sport was born of man's need to slide or move by snow-covered surfaces.
In the history of the Nordic countries are references to movements in the snow
using skins, special shoes or skates.
Probably skiing is one of the oldest sports, as the skis were used in Scandinavia
5000 years ago.
These were the most appropriate transport to move on snow-covered areas.

3. Se tiene noticia que el esquí es una práctica muy antigua aunque como
deporte no tiene tantos años . En la isla de Rodody, en Noruega , unos
paleontólogos descubrieron un grabado en una piedra en ella aparece la
figura de un cazador con una especie de esquís. Y el grabado en cuestión
data del 2500 a.C.
It is reported that skiing is an ancient practice as a sport but not so many years.
On the island of Rodody in Norway, some paleontologists discovered an engraving
on a stone in it is the figure of a hunter with a kind of skis. And the engraving in
question dates back to 2500 B.C.

EXPERIENCES
• En Cerler se pueden hacer muchas cosas
como por ejemplo: saltar, esquiar y dirfrutar
de las vistas etc…
• In Cerler you can do many things such as jumping, skiing and
enjoying the views, etc.

8. PISTAS
• Hay diferentes tipos de pistas: fáciles y difíciles. En
Cerler existen varias ESCALAS:
Verde
Azul
Roja
Negra

9. CERLER
Cerler está en el sur de los Pirineos. Está lleno de
montañas. La más alta es el Aneto (3404 m.)
La mayor parte de los árboles son pino negro.
Cerler is in the south of the Pyrenees. It is full of mountains. The
higher is the Aneto (3404 m.)
The most of the trees are black pines

11. La modalidad de esquí alpino es uno de los mas famosos. Se empezó a
practicarlo en los Alpes de hay su nombre (alpino). En las competiciones
el objetivo es hacer el recorrido en el mejor tiempo posible.
The Alps skiing is one of the most famous. It began to practice in the Alps. In
competitions the goal is to make the journey in the best possible time .

12. Telemark es una forma de esquí que nació en 1825. Viene de
Noruega de una ciudad llamada Telemark. A finales del siglo
XIX se volvió muy popular debido a las competiciones que se
celebran, en las que este es el estilo que se usa.
Telemark skiing was born in 1825. It comes from Norway , from a town called
Telemark. In the late nineteenth century became very popular because of the
competitions that are held, in which this is the style used.

13. El Snow se practica con una tabla alargada de unos treinta
centímetros de ancho.
Sobre la tabla hay que tener mucho equilibrio para no caerse.
The Snow is practiced with a long table about 30 cm. wide. On the table must have a
strong balance not to fall.

15. Los Llanos Del Hospital
Los Llanos del Hospital es una estación de esquí
nórdico.
Está situada dentro del parque natural Posets-
Maladeta, a los pies del Aneto. Ofrece unos paisajes
de una gran belleza.
The Llanos of the Hospital is a Nordic ski resort.
It is situated inside the natural park Posets-Maladeta ,at the
foot of Aneto. Landscapes are really beautiful.

16. La Estación

- Hay 3 pistas de esquí de fondo :
• una verde
• una azul
• una roja
El esquí de fondo cuenta con 30km de pistas, que se sitúan entre 1750
y 1940 m. de altura.
There are 3 types of Nordic ski :
green
blue
red

1940 m in height.

17. Esquí De Travesía
• El esquí de travesía es la alternativa más intrépida para quienes
desean vivir la montaña en primera persona.
• La nieve virgen y paisajes inesperados .
• Esta modalidad de esquí también se puede llamar ``randonnée``
• The crossing ski is the most intrepid choice for those who want
to live the mountain in first person.
• The snow is virgin and the landscapes are unexpected.
