The Omo valley tribes live in a spectaculary beautiful area with diverse ecosystem including grassland , volcanic outcrops , and one of the few remaning pristine river rine forest in semi arid Africa which suports a wide variety of wild fire. And they live in different villages,their houses are made of straw and of sticksof wood.
5. How is the society organized ? The Omo Valley Tribes are organized between sexs, the women construct the cabins and the man hunt the food for the family . The men hunt in the night of small canoes.

People depend on the phenomena of the river to be able to practise a system of cultures that depends on the rises, taking advantage of the fertile band that stays along the shores of the river when the level of the waters descends slowly. Also they resort to the rain rotary culture of , maize(corn), peppers, beans, and tobacco in the areas inundables. Some peoble hunt and fishing. The cows, goats and sheeps are a vital part of the way of life of the majority of these indigenous villages

It is a very dry region: it is not any more that desert in the western part and southwest, the temperatures during the day is about 35 centigrade degres, and mosquitoes of the malaria are a inconvenience. They have floods and big droughts, depend on the quantity of rain for his cultures and his survival.
