Preparing Students For    The 21 st  Century Janet Hale
The goal for the large group sessions is to present information on  21 st  century skills.  Participants  will begin to  plan, personally and collaboratively, how to begin to integrate  21 st  century skills into learning, lessons, and upgrading assessments .

Appraising What unit of study  makes sense for  me/we to start with an upgrade based on… 1. My/our comfort level for exploring the  upgrade zone possibilities  and being willing to be slightly uncomfortable with some implementation (learning and/or teaching). 2. Allowing students an opportunity to better  “own” the learning  ( “heart” = Big Idea and  project-based assessment ).
