4. Conclusion
The author realizes that the importance of global growth cannot be
interpreted by mere events. A larger perspective is required to fully grasp the
simultaneous actions of historic cultures that create a composition of
development that brings a rise in power among countries. The author describes
various methods of expansion such as trade, religion, social efforts, as well as
political movements to express an imperialist ideology that is the prominent
reason for expansion. I found the book to be very interesting, and I would
recommend it for recreational reading.
