METHODS FOR CUSTOMERS WITH A LINE OF CREDIT

portfolio. Your loan is scheduled to be part of the transfer of servicing, which will be in several phases,
beginning in early spring 2012, and running through fall of 2012. An official Notice of Assignment,
Sale, or Transfer of Servicing Rights letter containing more information regarding this transfer will be
mailed to the mailing address on record at least 15 days before the effective date of transfer. Please note,
and retain with your other important records, concerning your reverse mortgage loan, the following
information regarding the likely impact of the transfer of the servicing of your reverse mortgage loan
from [Company].
NO ACTION IS REQUIRED AT THIS TIME
This message is being sent for your informational purposes only. No action is required at this time. Any
required action will be provided in the official Notice of Assignment, Sale, or Transfer of Servicing
Rights letter.
If You Use Access Checks to take loan advances from your reverse mortgage loan: The checks
[Company] provided to you cannot be used after the servicing transfer. Your new loan servicer will
provide you with new checks once the servicing transfer is complete. The official Notice of Assignment,
Sale, or Transfer of Servicing Rights letter will provide you with additional information concerning
when to discontinue the use of [Company] Access Checks.
If You Use Online Banking to take loan advances from your reverse mortgage loan: Access to your
reverse mortgage line of credit through [Company] Online Banking will be discontinued as part of the
servicing transfer. Reverse mortgage customers who also have other [Company] accounts can currently
access their line of credit through Online Banking to transfer funds to another
[Company] account. Online Banking may not be available through your new servicer. Please see below
for alternative methods of accessing your line of credit.
Written Requests and Direct Deposit: If you receive your loan advances through direct deposit, your
new servicer will be provided with your account information. Your direct deposit will remain
unchanged. The official Notice of Assignment, Sale, or Transfer of Servicing Rights letter will provide
you with additional information concerning when to discontinue requesting loan advances from
[Company], N.A. Your new loan servicer will provide you with new loan advance request forms once
the servicing transfer is complete. If you are currently not setup with Direct Deposit and would like to be
prior to the servicing transfer, please contact our customer service team at 1.866.863.5224, Monday
through Friday, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pacific.

Servicing Transfer Message to Associates
Dear Associates,
In December 2011 [Company] agreed to sell mortgage servicing rights related to more than 100,000
residential reverse mortgages, effectively completing the bank’s exit from this business following our
announcement in February 2011 that we would no longer offer reverse mortgage originations.
The majority of these assets will be transferred to [company name]. As part of our strategy for
completing this sale, we will also transfer a portfolio of defaulted reverse mortgage loans to a firm called
[company name]. A smaller portion will be transferred to [company name].
RESPA required Notice of Assignment, Sale or Transfer of Servicing Rights will be mailed 15 days
prior to the scheduled servicing release.
