O nce upon a time, there lived a pretty little girl who always
wore a pretty red cape. Therefore, everyone called her
Little Red Riding Hood.
One day, her mother was baking in the kitchen.
“Go take this to your grandmother, she is very sick today. But
be careful in the woods on the way to her house”

L ittle Red Riding Hood skipped her way through the
woods. She was playing in the flowers when a nice wolf
came up to her.
“What are you doing in the woods by yourself little girl,” asked
the wolf.
“I am going to my grandmother’s house at the end of the
wood,” replied Little Red, “She is very sick today.”

T he wolf saw Little Red’s basket and it made him
hungry. He wanted to have Little Red for lunch, but he
knew he couldn’t do it in public.
The wolf then said, “that’s too bad, you should bring her
flowers.”
After Little Red agreed, she gathered some flowers and went
on her way to her grandmother’s house.
Meanwhile, the wolf ’s appetite got even bigger. He decided he
would go to the grandmother’s house too. So he ran as fast as
he could to her house before Little Red. When Grandmother
opened the door, he gobbled her whole. He then disguised
himself and hid in Grandmother’s bed.

The wolf, pretending to be her grandmother, said “Come
on in my dear.”
When Little Red came in she saw her grandmother, only it
did not look like her grandmother.

L ittle Red said, ” Grandmother, what big eyes you have.”
“ The better to see you with,” said the wolf.
“What big arms you have,” said Little Red.
“The better to hug you with,” said the wolf.
“Grandmother! What big teeth you have,” gasped Little Red.
“The better to eat you with,” yelled the wolf.

H e then began to chase her around the house to eat her.
Magically, a nice hunter appeared in the door and shot
his arrow into the wolf.
He then took his knife and cut the wolf ’s stomach. Out came
Grandmother. The hunter then went on his way after being
thanked by Little Red and her grandmother.
