FY08Combined UM and MU IT entities in Columbia into the Division of IT. FY09Continued to introduce enterprise applications, including PeopleSoft/Oracle's eProfile, eBenefits, Time & Labor, the UMSL student module, eProcurement, and ePay.Continued to consolidate expensive and underutilized servers into "virtual" servers on the MU campus to reduce hardware and increase efficiencies.Worked with MOREnet, our Internet service provider, to increase access circuit capacity to 10 gigabits per second in conjunction with the roll-out of the Next Generation Network (NGN).Introduced the multicampus Cisco TelePresence system.Retired mainframe hardware, software, and services.Upgraded Data Center generator capacity.Upgraded Data Center core network with redundant backbone connection.Instituted Gigabit-to-the-Desktop as a standard at MU.Designed and deployed network architecture between MU and NGN.Procured and deployed a Lecture Capture System.
