5. HIGH LEVEL PANEL FOR THE POST-2015
Work will be based on the findings of the
Report of the UN System Task Team
It will be informed by the outcome of major
processes, in particular the Rio+20 and the
UNDG’s open and inclusive consultations
It will deliver a report by the second quarter
of 2013
6. WORKING GROUP - SDG
Tasked to develop a proposal for the SDG
Working Group, comprised of 30
representatives nominated by Member
States
It will submit a report, to the sixty-eighth
session of the Assembly, containing a
proposal for SDG for consideration and
appropriate action

Strategy based on 3 pillars of work:
1. Inclusive national 2. Thematic 3. Web Portal and
consultation processes: consultations with social media to allow

11. WHY? OBJECTIVE OF THE COUNTRY CONSULTATIONS
Build a shared global vision on ‘The Future We
Want‘, with clear recommendations for
governments, civil society and broad
stakeholders;
Amplify the voices of the poor and other
marginalized groups; and
Influence the intergovernmental processes so
that they align with the aspirations of civil society
for a post-2015 agenda.
12. WHO COORDINATES AT THE COUNTRY LEVEL
UN Resident Coordinators will provide the
overall strategic guidance to ensure engagement
of the UN Country Team and broad participation
of different stakeholders at the country level
UNRCs may designate one or more UN agencies
to co-lead the process on behalf of the UNCT
50 countries have been identified by the UNDG
Chair in consultation with UNRCs

UNDP has mobilized financial resources to
provide seed funding for UNCTs to initiate the
work (roughly about USD 64.000 per country)
This amount will have to be spent by 31 March
2013
16. HOW TO SUBMIT A CONCEPT NOTE
Participating countries are requested to submit a
concept note on the post-2015 consultation(s)
through an on-line platform by 17 August
The concept note should
(1) identify stakeholders to be engaged and
(2) describe technical challenges and specific
support needed
(Template available in the Annex 1.3 of Guidelines)
A COA (Chart of Accounts) will be created once the
concept note has been received
