SYNOPSIS
House-coaching is a factual television format that follows the
transformation of common people in various countries and
cultures via their homes. Kirsten Steno, a Scandinavian Interior
Designer and Life Coach = House-coach will connect in a
profound and humorous way - virtually - showing with her
tools, that home is a mirror of their inner beauty and open up to
their own creativity guided by her design skills, no matter if
they have a new home, looking to remodel it or, during the
pandemic, how to make it multifunctional.
The show follows both how people transform the room with
practical advice and House-coaching tools and how they
change their perspective on life during 30 days of gratitude and
coaching with Kirsten as a "team-player". (Note: It is not Feng
Shui - only the heart will guide them home to themselves!)
Each episode will follow two different stories, from distant
countries, varied cultures but one common purpose.
During some online sessions, Kirsten uses empathy and life
coaching skills to create an emotional connection within a few
minutes. The homework done beforehand by the participants
will be shown to the viewers to prepare for the session. Limiting
thoughts we all have will be discovered during the tool of
describing the room and be dissolved with coaching tools. Then
they move on to decorate according to their new discoveries
and dreams.
People will get the House Coaching Kit, with a creative
"proposal" from Kirsten to work whit their own boards of ideas.
Session by session we´ll follow the beautiful transformation
process!

It is a box containing the proposal, some
cameras, a laser measure, a notebook, markers,
color palettes, a gratitude journal with questions
to people to carry out the renovation process
and to self-evaluate daily, and of course,
Kirsten’s book with guidelines Deeper Than
Design.

TOOLS
VISION BOARD: A visual scheme that helps people to find
what really matters connecting emotions with trust and the
path to achieve life purposes.
MIRROR TO SELF: A powerful tool asking people how would
they feel if they were the room/the sofa/the corner etc. People
will share their most hurtful limiting thoughts which Kirsten
dissolves, and hurtful tears are soon replaced by healing and
happy ones.
40/40/20 TOOL: Finding balance in a relationship represented
via the design, layout, and decors. Displaying the values of
both man and woman 40/40 + compromises (20).
7-3 DOWNSIZING: It is a decluttering method to detach
emotionally and be able to let go of the past and potential
future represented in items (both love, pain, potentiality, etc).
HAPPY WALLS: Walls created with the theme of the love and
happiness people have shared with Kirsten. Simply but super
powerful tool - often very low budget and an essential Home
Angel tool.

7. Kirsten's conversations with people evolve in such a way that step by
step they recognize their limiting thoughts and with coaching turn
their thoughts around. This new mindset is displayed in the home,
now that they have no doubt and no fear to decorate with the
intention to reach higher purpose and personal values.
People are asked to send 6 images of how they would dislike very
much to live (hate board) and then 6 images of how they would
LOVE to live if anything was possible (we are getting at the emotional
state they long for) and 6 happy memories (which we bring into the
decors imitating the emotions). Often we don't know what we desire
on the spot, but we know instantly what we dislike!.

8. When the renovation process ends, viewers will see the before and after
of a space that will transform the lives of those who live in it....and the
transformation is like the caterpillar to a butterfly - tough but so much
worth it!

9. People leave an inspirational message of what this
transformation has meant to them, revealing their own change,
not only for their houses but their entire life finding happiness.
