2. Projects:
Office 365 migration:
Opened Office 365 E3 corporate account modified DNS setting changes on hosting account by adding correct CNAME,
TXT and MX records from O365 settings page, including Lync.(Skype) Verified DNS record change. Exported all users PST
(non-exchange site) to NAS. Exported all user email addresses from web hosting email accounts to CSV. Cleaned data
and imported to Office 365 via the import users feature built into O365.
Specification required no AD integration.
Logged into Office 365 as administrator and purchased O365 licenses per requirement. Assigned each user a license and
chose applications and access per specifications.
Imported user PST’s and tested user accounts by logging in and verifying.
Advised all users that a synchronization period would occur that would limit user experience for a couple of hours while
PST converted to OST.
Overall project saved company approximately $1250.00 annually and allowed increased field operations ROI.
MPS Printer Exchange (75 printers):
Actively sought and received bids from multiple MPS vendors. Determined cost benefit analysis using simple
methodology. Negotiated contract details in order to guarantee positive SLA and ZERO downtime. Managed and
presented details of contract to management for final agreement.
Physical rollout consisted of weekend printer staging, with sectional rollout to minimize business interruptions. Setup
print server on virtual Windows Server 2003. Used VOIP phone network ports to connect new printers rather than lan
ports in office in order to manage better. Assigned IP addresses to all printers and verified by PING. Installed printer
management software on print server and verified connection with MPS. Finalized all settings and went live in 2 days.
Overall project saved company approximately $2900.00 annually.
