have one weekof online readingsinthe U.S.,priorto 3 weeksof lecturesinthe U.K.
Assessmentincludesshortdiscussionpapers&final essayexams.(Nopre-reqs!)
Costs: Room (single) &Meals(daily) =$1650 Airfare – (approx.) $1000
WPUTuition – 6 credits(Graduate or Undergraduate)

Courses: ComparativeRights (Prof.Principe –Political Science 302/599) Learnhow nations
observingboththe CommonLaw System(U.S.,U.K., Canada,N.Z.) andthe Civil Law
System(France,Germany,Italy,Spain) have evolvedhistoricallyinthe protectionof
political &civil rights(free speech,privacy,equal protection,due process).
ComparativePolitical Economy(Prof.Snyder–ECON 399/599) This course will focuson
the importantinteractionof economicandpoliticalsystemsacrossseveral countries&
continents.Studentswillcriticallyevaluate alternative analytical andtheoretical
perspectivestobetterunderstandhow politicalchoicesimpacteconomicgrowth and
development,aswell ashow the worldeconomyaltersdecisions.Studentswill then
examine some of the majordebatesincomparative political economytoday.
Eligibility: Participantsmusthave completedtheirfreshmanyearof college andpossessa2.5 gpa.
