Doesn't Work Like Other Chalkboards - Beware : This is a beautiful item, except for the fact that the chalkboard material is too slick and
becomes stained if you use chalk markers. Nearly everyone in the restaurant business uses chalk markers. They normally function fine on
OTHER chalkboards, and they allow you to have neat and clear writing. I would have liked to have been warned NOT to use chalk markers
on this product before using. Calling the selling company got me nowhere. They said soft cloth or rubbing alcohol should work. It doesn't.
They won't take a return because it's been used. There was no paperwork indicating you shouldn't use a chalk marker. I'm now forced to re-
paint this with store bought chalkboard paint if I want it to function like a normal chalkboard should. I would buy something else if given the
choice again.
Looks Nice, But Wood Is Cheap... : we had this board outside for two weeks. A gust of wind caught it and blew it to pieces. This board
uses soft wood and small screws which makes for poor durability.
Not Really That Sturdy : i live in chicago, its the windy city. lol. we bought this item for our boutique store front. it looks good. but its not
very durable. we use it as our special-board. and write our new arrivals and other stuff on it, we take it outside and put it in front of our
storefront. we only have it for a month. and on the top it s almost already falling apart. i guess this product is good for indoor use and if u
planning to keep it pretty much on the same spot, i would not recommended for outdoor use and if you planning to move it around everyday.
because its just a month old and already falling apart. i don t think its going to survive until next summer.
Sidewalk Frame : The sidewalk chalkboard frame that I received was more than expected. Quick service, excellant product.
Solid Product : This chalkboard is good for the price. As I read other reviews before my purchase, I have found them all to be accurate
(positive & negative). Living in the city of Chicago, this board cannot stand up too well in the wind. I just lean it up against the wall during
windy days, which defeats the purpose of the two-sided feature. But other than that, the delivery was quick and the product is exactly what is
shown. I don't use any special type of chalk, just the plain stuff and it works just fine!
Good Value : Great value for the price. As it says, don't use liquid chalk on it. Or if you do, be prepared to scrub scrub scrub when you want
to change the sign. I've used it for 2 months outside of our restaurant and it's holding up quite well.

Sidewalk Sign Review : The sign did not hold up well. I had the sign for less than a month and the hinges at the top broke off with just
regular use. I would recommend something with a better design. The hinge at the top and the quality of the wood is not good.
Not What I Expected : I paid more attention to the good, but now questionable, reviews of this product. This A-frame is low-grade quality.
The "chalk board" is not a chalkboard. It's plastic-like material. The frame is cheap and flimsy. With this product, you don't even get what
you pay for. Anyways, as suggested by the people at my local Fast Signs, I'll be building my own DURABLE A-frame chalk board with
materials from the local hardware shop.
And for what it's worth, the "customer service" from this company is hardly that. Not to mention the 15% restocking fee... I won't be
purchasing from this company again.

3. Great Value : I'm actually stunned how well made this sign is for the price. The wood is beautiful and the sign is very sturdy. We've used it
indoors and out and have not had any problems. We have used the liquid chalk so I'm not sure if regular chalk would work on it or not (the
surface does seem to be slicker that traditions chalk board).
