The Denim by Première Vision show
which took place last 27 and 28
November in the Halle Freyssinet in
Paris was a study in contrasts. An
edition that took as its theme tattoos, the
indelible markings of indigo, the emotion
stirred by the jeans of a lifetime. A
theme where rebel details mixed with
the nobility of raw denim, as if literally
«engraved», incised on fabric, evoking
both a poetic softness and a biting
blackness, a low-key modernity and
vintage fantasy. An essential event that
underlined the inspirations, innovations
and key directions sure to influence
shapes and trends for a pivotal and
bold spring summer 15.

Spring summer 15 engraves, with force
and delicacy, the direction of a pivotal
season, where blue reclaims its boldness,
and inscribes indigo with nobility and
distinction.
It reconciles pasts and futures in a season
championing bases that are dense and
lightweight, essential and futile, soft and
dangerous.
Fantasy, majestically feminine or discreetly
and firmly masculine, is affirmed across
every item in the silhouette, from the
fabrics to the accessories.
Silhouette highlights focus on looks floaty
or body-sculpting looks, yet always wider,
shorter, and more well-defined, with
engineered fantasy and details, surprising
backs, relaxed sweatshirts and plays on
edges, sleeves and the bottoms of skirts
and pants.
