2. Some + nombre incontable
Se traduce por “un poco, algunos”, o no se traduce.
Se usa delante de un sustantivo incontable en oraciones
afirmativas.
Ej: I want some water, please (Quiero agua, por favor)
En general aparece en oraciones afirmativas pero podemos
encontrarlo excepcionalmente en oraciones interrogativas para
pedir algo en concreto.
Ej: Can you give some advice? (¿Puedes darme
consejo?/¿Puedes aconsejarme?)
3. Any + nombre incontable
Se usa delante de nombres incontables en oraciones negativas e
interrogativas.
Se traduce por “algún, algo de” en oraciones negativas
Se traduce por “ningún, nada de” en oraciones interrogativas.
Puede aparecer en oraciones afirmativas con el significado de
“cualquiera”.
4. No + nombre contable
Delante de sustantivos incontables.
Siempre en oraciones en afirmativa.
Siempre se traduce en singular (nada de)
Ej: There is no money. (No hay dinero)
Ej: There isn't no money (INCORRECTO)
