There are many ways in which you can tie a tie. The most
common way is the Windsor not. However there is also the Half
Windsor not, the Four in hand, and the shell not. The instructions
for these nots are on the right, some methods may be easier for
you then others so its best to choose the one that works best for
you.

3. The Classic Windsor not
Easily the most commonly used method. To
start put the thinner end of the tie on the left
and the thicker side right. It should look like a
horseshoe with one side longer than the other.

4. Step 2
Then rap the thinker end over the thinner one.
Since the thicker side started on the right your
folding it left.

5. Step 2
After that weave it through and then over
the top. You should bring it up towards
your chin.

6. Step 3
Bring the thick side you just pulled over
down and to the left

7. Step 5
Now rap the down and to the
right.

8. Then bring it to the center up towards the neck
loop

9. Then weave it through the neck loop and down the
right.

10. Then cross it to the left.

11. Bring it up into the neck from underneath

12. Then down from the front.

13. Tighten the not by pulling down the thicker end.
