PDHPE provides students with important life skills through nutrition, healthy living, exercise, and informed decision making. It introduces ideas of healthy eating and nutrition, helps students understand body image and differences in people, and teaches about the risks of drugs, alcohol, and sex. The goal is for students to make choices that will help them be healthy and feel positive through physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
