engineering hours.
o Software Block Templates added according to new engineering requirement.
o Engineering features provided for Linux based Controller. Through the same engineering station
engineering can be done for both Linux and windows based controller and the same can be
online downloaded to both type of controller.
o Within a single click engineering done for windows based controller can be migrated to Linux
based controller and vice versa.
o Optimization of timer for milliseconds in Linux based controller using high precision timer.
Programming was done in C, VC++. Stored procedures were used for database script. Linux Virtual
Machine using VMware was integrated for compilation of C file for Linux environment executable.

• Development of Auto Tuning Tool for Controller
o The whole concept, design and implementation were done independently.
o Client-Server architecture of this module provides auto tuning of control loop like control valve.
o This module will automatically tune the controller and suggests parameters proportional gain
(KP), derivative gain (VD) settling time (TN) for control valve and shows the behavior of process,
set point and controller output in graph.
Programming was done in C, VC++. This module was integrated with SoftAS (Automation Controller) and
GUES+.
