Portable Two-Point Sampling System
with OdaLog Hydrogen Sulfide Monitors
The CV Systems TPS-2000 sampling system is a portable hydrogen sulfide gas monitoring
system capable of using either low-range 0.0 - 2.0 PPM Type 4 OdaLogs or various PPM L2
PPM OdaLog models. The OdaLogs can accurately measure H2S concentrations from 10
parts per billion (PPB) to 2000 parts per million (PPM). The system is designed for short-
term monitoring of odor control systems, sewer interceptors, wetwells, wastewater plant
headworks, or any location that requires H2S monitoring data.
The TPS-2000 sampling system uses advanced OdaLog Hydrogen Sulfide Gas Monitors.
The OdaLogs are coupled with a dual-headed two-liter-per-minute pump to rapidly deliver
the sample to the instruments from a remote location. The sampling system removes
moisture from the sample stream using built-in internal traps.
TPS-2000 H2S Monitoring of Odor Control Systems
System Description
Either one or two Odalogs can be utilized for remote source monitoring. Liquid traps provides moisture
removal that are housed within the Pelican case. Temperature control is provided by a 150-watt heater
and thermostat. The Pelican case protects the OdaLogs from extreme temperature swings and the
ambient conditions. Built-in flowmeters provide front panel monitoring of proper 0.20-0.30 liter-per-
minute flow rates to the OdaLogs. Quick disconnect fittings allow the flowmeters to be bypassed when
moisture conditions require them to be taken out of service due to condensate build-up. The Pelican
case comes with a retractable handle and wheels for easy transport to the job site.

2. OdaLog Data
In addition, the OdaLog stores the hydrogen sulfide data in its internal data logger. Up to 30,000 data
points can be stored in the OdaLog internal memory. The data can be extracted at any time using the
OdaStat software to provide graphical outputs.
