as they traveled on camel back
along the Silk Road.

shipments of tea to meet the growing
demand in England and Europe.

the different processing techniques develop
a variety of flavors (different types of tea).
White Tea

A true, authentic White Tea can only come from
the Fujian Province. Popular varieties include
Bai Mu Dan
Silver Needle.

Green Tea
Look for Green Teas from the Zhejiang
Province, specifically Wu Yi County or
West
Lake Dragonwell or Maofeng Green.

Guangdong Provinces. If they are grown on Wuyi Mountain, you know they will be good!
For lighter fermentation, try Tie

Da Hong Pao (aka “Big Red Robe”)
Black Tea
Look for Black Teas in the Anhui or Fujian Province. Try
Keemun to sample a favorite of the Queen of England!
If you like smoky bold flavors, try Lapsang Souchong,
but beware, it's not for the faint of heart!
Dark Tea
Dark tea comes from the Yunnan Province traditionally.
The variety is called Pu-erh
