Students from the First Year of Catering Business and the English-Fol teacher have had a chat about this subject during a week. We have described our meals and made some comments. It has been fun!!

2. Monday 1st
February 2016
BREAKFAST
Hello and good morning to you all.
I forgot the picture; however I had white coffee and tiny oiled toast bread.
BREAK AT SCHOOL: 11:00-11:30
Two mandarins, my break.
LUNCH
I am just having my meal. A vegetable salad and
pork meat with alioli.
DINNER:
The end of our first day is getting closer and I would like to tell
you that I really like your participation and your “implication”.
I believe this is a good way of learning and knowing each
other better.
It is a small piece of Gallegan pie.
That is all because I am not hungry at all. Oops, I will also have
a drink too.
Good night and have sweet dreams.

3. Tuesday 2nd
February
BREAKFAST
Good morning to everybody!!! This is my healthy breakfast.
I forgot to describe that I had white coffee with oiled toasts. Yummy.
LUNCH
Here it comes the picture. You will excuse me. I am tired. I
will make a description of my lunch after my daily siesta.

Cabbage potatoes and red sausages salad; I also had a
steak.
I must confess I had some biscuits too.

Oh my god!!! Reading this chat makes me feel so hungry….

I haven’t had anything at all. Yesterday night I felt sick and couldn’t have anything. When I get
home, I will have a hot and soft drink. I still have a tummy ache.

4. Wednesday 3rd
February
BREAKFAST
Good morning. Here it is my lovely breakfast. A cup
of white coffee and some toast.
LUNCH
For goodness sake, this looks superb. Anyway, I am going to repeat the first dish which is
potatoes with cabbage and red sausages.

5. Thursday 4th
February
BREAKFAST
This is my breakfast. I had a white cup of coffee and oiled
toasts. See you soon.
LUNCH
I have just had an enormous dish of chickpeas, red sausage
and meat. Finally, I felt like having white cheese too,.
I think I need a rest, jajajaj.
…It doesn’t matter if you forget to participate on time as
long as you do it later on.
... Eva, your picture and cooking is amazing.
…. All of you are doing a great job. I am so proud of you……
DINNER
My dinner tonight. Some fried potatoes and a nice
burger.

6. Friday 5th
February
BREAKFAST
Sharing with you my last breakfast. As usual, I have had a
white coffee and oiled toast.
LUNCH
Risotto. A lovely risotto.
DINNER
CONCLUSIONS
This entire document contains my participation in the chat during the week.
Students believe that it has been an excellent idea. They have participated during the whole
week telling us about their meals in English. Most of them have used their own photos to
illustrate their texts.
Because it has been a repeated activity, most of us have had the chance to correct our errors
and improve our English day by day.
