2.  Utah's growing popularity as a center for IT excellence has been
growing every year. Currently, Utah is one of the fastest growing IT
communities with companies and talent moving to Utah at a faster
pace than ever mainly due to the infrastructure and savings in real
estate costs that the state offers. This brings in the need for more IT
talent and also the need for skills enhancement of existing IT talent to
adapt to dynamically ever changing Information Technology
applications technical, business, infrastructure, architectural design
needs.
 UTArch perceives the need as an opportunity to serve the needs of
the growing IT industry and talent. IASA and UTArch perceives an IT
professional as someone who bridges the gap between business and
technology and we are here to build that professionalism and guide
your (our) career to help take it to the next dimension.

Architect.

classroom and online learning resources, and much more.

center of gravity that is becoming Utah. Through active contributions of thought
leadership and involvement, UTArch hopes to help define and promote the role of IT
Architects in business and technology within and beyond Utah.

Architects and provide a means for its growth and progress. With its affiliation with
the International Association of Software Architects (IASA), UTArch will offer its
members access to many valuable resources and opportunities to learn and
participate with peers around the country and the world.
