Michael Jackson was born in 1958 in Indiana and was part of the famous musical group The Jackson Five formed by his father in 1967. As a child prodigy, Michael began performing on stage at age 4 and by age 12 had become a worldwide star, winning his first of 13 Grammy Awards at age 20. Known as the "King of Pop", Michael was one of the most successful entertainers of all time, selling over 350 million records and dominating the pop music charts from the 1970s through the 2000s.
