3. What images are in your mind when you hear the words
virus, plague, epidemic, pandemic?
An outbreak every 100 years: Plague of 1720, cholera of 1820, Spanish flu of 1920, coronavirus of 2020

4. Plague is an infectious disease caused by
the bacteria Yersinia pestis, usually found
in small mammals and their fleas. The
disease is transmitted between animals
via their fleas and, as it is a zoonotic
bacteriuma, it can also transmit from
animals to humans.
Symptoms include fever, weakness and
headache. Usually this begins one to seven
days after exposure.
A virus is a submicroscopic
infectious agent that replicates
only inside the living cells of an
organism. Viruses can infect all
types of life forms, from animals
and plants to microorganisms.

To produce a short audiovisual about coronavirus,
in which you show how it is affecting one sector of
society, present a practical solution, and a hopeful
message, which transmits values such as tolerance,
diversity, equity and solidarity

VIDEO:
1) Coronavirus-Intro/ History
2) How it is affecting one sector of society:
1-2 people: one sector/ 3 people: 2 sectors
3) Present a practical solution
4) A hopeful message, which transmits values such
as tolerance, diversity, equity and solidarity.
Remember to talk….use pictures….interviews,
animations, statistical data, movies. Cite your
source !

11. Task 3:
Covid 19 is affecting all segments or sectors
of society. Choose a segment to work on.

12. NOTE.
Independently, you are going to research minimum three (3) different
sources of information which can help you get information for the
segment you will be working on, (They can be articles, news, videos,
interviews). Key question: How the virus is affecting the sector you
chose?
