This document summarizes a study visit to I.E.S. Alhaken II, a bilingual secondary school in Cordoba, Spain. It provides an overview of the school's bilingual program and achievements. The school has around 920 students and 60 teachers. It offers bilingual education in English, French and German. Most students take French, with over 90% enrolled in the French bilingual program. The school aims to gradually increase the number of subjects taught in French each year. It has seen growing success with student motivation and exam scores since starting the bilingual program in 2005. Areas for continued improvement include better supporting students with learning difficulties and reducing drop-outs.
