“me duele” or “me duelen”
This is the rule:
Me + duele/duelen + el/la/los/las
& then… the body part
It is important to note that if it is one thing that
hurts, you say:
Me duele la garganta (only 1 throat)
If it is more than one thing that hurts, you say:
Me duelen las piernas (2 legs)
