World over, most sectors have embraced information communication technology (ICT) as the preferred tool of choice for best management practices regarding service delivery in this 21st century. Despite the Kenya government and other stakeholders’ efforts to enhance use and integration of ICT in the education sector, public secondary schools management still lag behind in this area. Reviewed literature revealed that majority of the stakeholders focus on use and integration of ICT more on curriculum delivery as opposed to school management practices. To put ICT use and integration in management of public secondary schools to relevance in this information age, the study sought to establish opportunities available and challenges faced in use and integration of ICT in public secondary schools management in Bungoma South District, Kenya. Specific objectives of the study were to establish challenges faced in use and integration of ICT in management and find out available opportunities for use and integration of ICT in management. The study employed descriptive survey design. The study population comprised of 36 Principals, 36 Deputy Principals, 36 Directors of studies and 4 District Quality Assurance and Standards Officers. Saturated sampling technique was used to select 3 Quality Assurance and Standards Officers, 32 principals, 32 Deputy Principals and 32 Directors of Studies. Data collection instruments were self administered questionnaires and interviews. Quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive statistics in form of frequencies counts and percentages while qualitative data was analyzed on an ongoing process as themes and sub themes emerged. The study findings established that schools that used and integrated ICT in management were major beneficiaries of donors such as the Ministry of Education and the Constituency Development Fund computer project. There was however a wide digital divide in use and integration of ICT in management regarding ICT resources. For instance, an overwhelming 100% of principals and Quality Assurance and Standards Officers cited ICT infrastructure and financial resources as major challenges faced in use and integration of ICT among others. The study recommended that the Ministry of Education increases its budgetary allocation to cater for capacity building and infrastructure to fill the gap in digital divide.
20 cm x 20 cm Flat boards of wood plastic composite (WPC) of thickness size of 0.5 cm was produced from three indigenous wood species (Funtumia elastica, Brachystegia kennedy and Milicia excelsa). WPCs were produced from each of selected wood species at two different wood/rHDPE mixing ratios of 1:1 and 1:1.5 at a constant nominal board density of 1g/m3. Effect of these production variables (wood species and mixing ratio) were investigated on physical and mechanical properties of WPC boards produced. Properties such as water absorption (WA), thickness swelling (TS), abrasion (AB), modulus of elasticity (MOE), modulus of rupture (MOR) and impact bending test (IB) were all carried out on the samples. Appropriate quantities of sawdust and pulverised nylon were sieved, weighed and mixed thoroughly to produce flat WPC boards from fabricated Hot-press plate machine at 1030 C with a constant pressure of 1.23N/mm2 for 20 minutes. Samples were cut into specific dimensions in accordance with British Standard (B.S D373 and D1181). Results shows that flat WPC boards produced from B. kennedy and M. excelsa were relatively low in moisture uptake but lower in wood /rHDPE mixing ratio of 1:1.5. However these wood species WPC boards were stiff and strong in strength properties but stiffer and stronger with wood /rHDPE mixing ratio of 1:1, additional abrasion values was lower in both B. kennedy and M. excelsa than F. elastica. Based on the findings that increased proportion of pulverised nylon to wood in WPC boards makes the boards to be plasticized with low strength properties, but highly dimensional stable, boards in these categories could be considered for low bearing load applications in both exterior and interior engineering materials.

MANET is a dynamic network with large number of mobile nodes .As the traffic increases over the manet it will leads to number of problems i.e congestion and packet loss .This congestion and packet loss problems occurs due to the attack in manet .one of attack is black hole attack .As a result some packet loss over the network and slows the communication process. In this paper we are providing the solution against black hole attack which is based on fuzzy rule .fuzzy rule based solution identify the infected node as well as provide the solution to reduce data loss over network.
After independence, the focus of the Government of India was to frame the major policies based on equity along with growth in the agriculture sector. Being an agrarian country, many efforts been made towards economic and social stabilization over the past decades, but not much progress has been achieved in the growth of the agro industrial sector. Farmers lack access to adequate agricultural technology inputs, funding and commercial farming skills have put the quality under the threat. The productivity may be increasing, but better quality not been achieved. With the increase in agricultural production, there is a need to have the proportionate growth in the agro-processing industry. In the recent past most of the farmers are becoming real estate owners by giving their fertile land to edifice industry, because they are unable to meet the expenditure spent on cultivation, high rates of interests taken from landlords, commission agents, banks and financial institutions, few among them committed suicide, the rate of suicide cases was out of control. Government from time to time taking steps to eradicate the effects in agriculture but they confined only to paper. In Dharmapuri, Karimnagar District of Andhra Pradesh farmers came forward to start their own associations to meet their problems without government intervention. This paper focuses on the farmers those who became entrepreneurs to Agri-preneurs, studies about the profile of agricultural entrepreneurs i.e. agri-preneurs and their socio cultural background in Dharmapuri in Andhra Pradesh.
