This document discusses building a knowledge management system for non-state actors in Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, and Tanzania to better coordinate their efforts in supporting the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP). It conducted a needs assessment that found members wanted to share experiences, best practices, lessons learned, and advocacy expertise. The system aims to formalize relationships among over 300 organizations and strengthen collaboration on CAADP implementation through knowledge capture, sharing, generation and application. Challenges include engaging users, but opportunities exist to leverage existing momentum and a culture of support to build a platform for meaningful strategic information exchange.
