FAIR Data Prototype - Interoperability and FAIRness through a novel combinati...Mark Wilkinson
This slide deck accompanies the manuscript "Interoperability and FAIRness through a novel combination of Web technologies", submitted to PeerJ Computer Science: https://doi.org/10.7287/peerj.preprints.2522v1
It describes the output of the "Skunkworks" FAIR implementation group, who were tasked with building a prototype infrastructure that would fulfill the FAIR Principles for scholarly data publishing. We show how a novel combination of the Linked Data Platform, RDF Mapping Language (RML) and Triple Pattern Fragments (TPF) can be combined to create a scholarly publishing infrastructure that is markedly interoperable, at both the metadata and the data level.
This slide deck (or something close) will be presented at the Dutch Techcenter for Life Sciences Partners Workshop, November 4, 2016.
Spanish Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad grant number TIN2014-55993-R
Since 1967, the Federation of Southern Co-operatives (FSC) has worked to increase incomes, support economic development, and assist in land retention, especially for African Americans but essentially for all family farmers in the Southern US. This presentation focuses on efforts to develop regional marketing and food distribution systems that can link co-operative communities in the South with those in other parts of the country through trade.
A modeling workflow in systems biology: An overviewAnna Zhukova
A talk at the 1st RSGLux Congress, November 2016, Belval-University, Luxembourg.
In this talk we go though different steps of a typical modeling workflow, such as model inference, curation, simulation and analysis. We discuss tools and knowledgebases (model databases, ontologies) that can be used at each step, as well as the standards (e.g. SBML, SBGN) that permit us to encode models in a machine-readable format that can be exchanged between various tools, and facilitates model reuse.
